It uses commonly found craft materials that are, most likely, already available in your home.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Thanksgiving Tree Craft<\/strong> <\/h2><p>Making this thankful tree is super easy. It makes for an excellent memento for kids to look at when they grow older and recall how little their hands once were!<\/p><p>Besides keeping your kids busy on thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Tree will allow them to pause and think of the things they often take for granted and be grateful for them. <\/p><p>This thoughtful craft can be easily converted to a Thanksgiving activity for the whole family (or classroom!) where every member gets to pen down things they are thankful for! <\/p><p>This handprint tree also doubles up as an <a href=\"https:\/\/kidpillar.com\/best-fall-crafts-for-kids-of-all-ages\/\"><strong>easy<\/strong> <strong>fall craft<\/strong><\/a> for toddlers. It\u2019s uses beautiful fall colours that are symbolic of the autumn season.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supplies For Thankful Tree Craft<\/h3><p>Glue gun with glue stick<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sharpie<\/li>\n\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n\n<li>Paint brush<\/li>\n\n<li>Brown Acrylic Colour<\/li>\n\n<li>Construction Paper &#8211; Red, Orange &amp; Yellow<\/li>\n\n<li>Empty Toilet Paper Roll<\/li>\n\n<li>Skewers\/ Barbeque Sticks<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Make Gratitude Tree<\/h3><p>1. Take an empty toilet roll and using scissors make fringes on one end of the roll to make the tree trunk. <\/p><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/kidpillar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Thankful-tree-activity-1.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"503\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/kidpillar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Thankful-tree-activity-1.jpg?resize=600%2C503&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Thankful tree activity\" class=\"wp-image-29105\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div><p>2. Using hot glue, make lines of different sizes and patterns (like shown) on the toilet roll to make bark for the tree trunk. Once dry, bend the trimmed edges so that the tree can balance on them. This will help the thankful tree stand upright without falling.<\/p><p>4. Use brown acrylic colour or ordinary brown paint to paint the trunk of the thanksgiving tree. While the paint dries, take construction paper in autumn colours (we used orange, yellow &amp; red) and trace out your child\u2019s hand using a sharpie.
